Gabriel Gallas

Gabriel Gallas’s practice areas include all aspects of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. He is board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

In his practice, Gabriel counsels executors and trustees, including professional trust departments; he designs plans to protect personal and family assets; he guides professionals, individuals, and families through the estate planning process, including marital property planning; and he plans for the transfer of family wealth and values to later generations. He accepts court appointments from Travis County to serve as attorney ad litem in probate and heirship proceedings, and he speaks on topics including probate, estate administration, and marital property planning. He is First Vice President of the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas and is a board member of the Probate and Estate Planning Law Section of the Austin Bar Association. He is also recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by Thompson Reuters.

Gabriel received a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002, and after working for several years as a financial analyst for a large bank, he attended South Texas College of Law Houston where he received his J.D. in 2009.  

Gabriel frequently volunteers for Lawyer Referral Service’s LegalLine and for Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the ZACH Theatre.
